Painting is an intuitive and energetic process for me, inspired by the colors and shapes of nature from my garden, my Greek heritage and my local area in country Victoria, Australia.
The roses I grow in my garden often feature in my art. I am inspired by flowers, landscapes, and seascapes, using vibrant, unexpected colors and expressive brushstrokes.
I admire Impressionists like Claude Monet and Pierre Bonnard, and I primarily work with acrylics on canvas, incorporating texture to help with mood. I use mixed media like inks, watercolors, crayons, and gold foil.
I also paint impressionistic bridal bouquets which you can commission for a bridal gift. I try to create art that brings lasting joy to collectors.
I started painting years ago in school and have attended and continue to be a part of creative workshops.
I'm a proud Mum to two wonderful sons and a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren. I continue to learn from other wonderful artists and my gorgeous grandkids teach me about just being a bit more of a free spirit!
